Privacy Policy

Operator and Scope

Cradle is operated by Minuteman Apps LLC. This Privacy Policy applies to the Cradle iOS app and related sync, sharing, widget, live activity, watch, reminder, backup, export, and caregiver features made available through the app. It does not apply to third-party products or services that process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Information Cradle Stores

Cradle stores the information you choose to place in the app, including baby profiles, feeding, sleep, diaper, pumping, solid-food, health, medicine, growth, milestone, photo, note, report, reminder, and caregiver-sharing records. The app may also store settings and operational data such as notification preferences, sync status, widget state, watch state, last-updated times, and other metadata needed to keep your records available across supported features.

How Your Data Is Used

Cradle uses stored data to provide tracking, reminders, timers, summaries, insights, reports, widgets, watch features, exports, backups, and caregiver collaboration. The app may process your records to calculate trends, generate recommendations, restore backups, sync changes, and present the most recent care information on your devices. Some food, allergen, readiness, and feeding-safety features may display generalized educational information based on age ranges, user-entered records, or common caregiving patterns. Those features are informational only, may not account for your child’s medical history or current condition, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Cradle does not use your records to serve advertising and does not sell your personal data.

If you enable sync, backup, notifications, widgets, or watch features, related data may be processed through Apple services and frameworks such as iCloud, CloudKit, notifications, widgets, live activities, and watch connectivity so the app can function across supported devices. If you share a baby profile with another caregiver, the shared records, updates, and related activity become visible to that caregiver and may continue to appear on their devices until access is removed and sync completes.

Notifications and Device Features

Cradle may use notifications, widgets, watch connectivity, live activities, and other platform features to surface reminders and current care information. These features depend on the permissions, device settings, and account configuration you choose. Some information may appear on lock screens, widgets, shared devices, or paired devices if you enable those features.

Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices

Your records remain available in Cradle until you delete them, remove the app data, restore over them, or disable the related sync or sharing features. Deleted data may remain temporarily in synced storage, device backups, caches, logs, or on another caregiver's device until deletion and sync operations finish or those backups are replaced or removed. You can export your data, manage sharing, disable notifications, restore backups, or delete app data from Settings.

Children's Information and Caregiver Authority

Cradle is intended for use by parents, guardians, and caregivers, not by children directly. If you add information about a child, you represent that you are authorized to provide, manage, and share that information for caregiving purposes. You are responsible for deciding what child information to enter, what photos or notes to attach, and which caregivers receive access.

Policy Availability and Updates

This Privacy Policy may be presented inside the app and, where applicable, through the distribution channel or website that makes Cradle available. Cradle may update this policy as features change, including changes to sync, widgets, watch support, reports, or sharing. If the policy is updated, the revised version will apply to future use of the app to the extent permitted by law.

Terms of Service

Eligibility and Authority

These Terms govern your use of Cradle, which is operated by Minuteman Apps LLC. You may use Cradle only if you can legally agree to these Terms and are authorized to create, manage, and, where applicable, share the child and caregiver records you place in the app. If you use Cradle on behalf of a household or another caregiver, you are responsible for making sure your use and any sharing of records is permitted.

License and Acceptable Use

Cradle grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal household, family, and caregiving purposes. You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to reverse engineer it except where law permits, use it for unlawful activity, or share records in a way that violates privacy, confidentiality, or applicable law.

App Store and Platform Terms

If you obtain Cradle through Apple's App Store, your use of the app must also comply with Apple's applicable usage rules and platform requirements. Apple is not responsible for the app's services, support, maintenance, or warranty except as required by law, and device manufacturers, carriers, and platform providers may impose additional restrictions outside Cradle's control.

Medical and Emergency Disclaimer

Cradle is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any schedules, trends, reminders, food suggestions, readiness cues, allergen prompts, safety notes, reminders, or recommendations in the app are informational only and should not replace professional medical judgment. Do not rely on Cradle for emergencies, urgent symptoms, medication emergencies, suspected allergic reactions, choking events, feeding intolerance, dehydration concerns, breathing difficulty, or any time-critical care decision. If you believe there is an emergency, contact emergency services or a qualified medical professional immediately.

Food Introduction, Allergens, and Feeding Safety

You are solely responsible for deciding whether, when, and how to introduce solid foods or allergenic foods to a child, for confirming developmental readiness, for choosing safe textures and serving methods, and for supervising all feeding. Cradle does not guarantee that any food, allergen, texture, timing, serving suggestion, or feeding workflow shown in the app is safe, appropriate, or suitable for your child. You should consult your pediatrician or another qualified clinician before relying on food-related guidance in the app, especially if the child was born prematurely, has eczema, reflux, poor weight gain, swallowing concerns, prior choking events, known or suspected allergy, or any other medical condition. You should stop using any food-related guidance in the app and seek appropriate medical care if a child shows signs of an allergic reaction, intolerance, choking, aspiration, breathing difficulty, or other concerning symptoms.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, the caregivers you invite, the devices and accounts you use with Cradle, and the actions you take based on app content. Shared caregivers may be able to view, edit, export, or act on information you share with them, and synced or shared information may remain visible on another device until access changes and synchronization finishes.

Availability, Changes, and Termination

Features may change over time, including sync behavior, widgets, watch support, reminders, reports, sharing, or exports. Cradle may add, remove, suspend, or modify functionality to improve reliability, safety, legal compliance, or usability. Your right to use the app ends if you violate these Terms, and Cradle may limit or discontinue access to features where reasonably necessary.

Governing Law and Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by the applicable law that validly applies to the use of Cradle and any dispute relating to the app. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any non-waivable consumer protections or remedies that apply under the law where you live.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cradle is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every caregiving situation. You are responsible for using appropriate judgment, supervision, safe feeding practices, and backup methods. To the extent permitted by law, Cradle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or data-loss damages arising from your use of the app, sync delays, caregiver sharing, device issues, food preparation or serving decisions, feeding supervision, or reliance on app content, including food suggestions, allergen reminders, safety notes, or other food-related information. To the extent permitted by law, Minuteman Apps LLC disclaims liability for injuries, allergic reactions, choking incidents, aspiration, feeding intolerance, delayed treatment, or other harm allegedly related to food-related use of the app or reliance on app content.

Misuse and Third-Party Claims

If your unlawful use of Cradle, unauthorized sharing of records, or breach of these Terms causes claims or losses for another person or service provider, you may be responsible for those claims or losses to the extent permitted by law.

Terms Updates

Cradle may update these Terms as features or legal requirements change. The current version may be presented in the app and, where applicable, through the distribution channel or website that makes Cradle available. Continued use of the app after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
